An Unanswered Question

When the soul from the body departs, exactly what happens next?
Without some scientific proof, mankind by this question is vexed.

With such diverse beliefs that cause so many to not get along,
I’m stunned by the folks who insist that their own beliefs can’t be wrong.

Old wisdom states that we were given two ears and one mouth for a reason. People are so busy talking they fail to notice that everyone got up and walked away, leaving them trapped within the vacuum of their ignorance. You, on the other hand, have opined wisdom. Ours for the ages.

An intriguing question in this wonderful poem Andrea. Spirit cannot die, life cannot die. All that happens at so-called human death is that consciousness/spirit/soul withdraws from the physical body, continuing as a metaphysical Being of Love and Light on a non-physical level of expression. You are an eternal Being of Love with the freedom to express Self in whatever way you care to imagine. Your imagination is creation; whatever you continually imagine you will eventually experience. To answer your question to Connie, when the heart stops, the doctors pronounce one deceased - The soul/spirit haven't left yet. All the best with the contest Andrea ...Maria xxx

My dearest Andrea, in science there is a law called the law of conservation of matter and energy. It states that matter/ Energy cannot be created nor destroyed it can change from one form to another. Our souls are Energy, and we are all star dusts.... we came from a primordial Oneness. Merry Christmas...

Well, no one knows for sure, Andrea, but one thing is clear, we must die one day and the question is "Are we prepared to face our Creator after death?"

Salvation is a very important thing to me. I have to believe that when someone has a disregard for it. It is out their own fear of there being nothing. And so they become hopeless and discredit the faith and beliefs of others. God has many names. And removing religious monuments and social displays of connecting with him diminishes mankind on a whole. Because we are all CHILDREN.

Like you, I believe we are all God's children. But some I have talked to do not agree or they believe salvation will be for an extremely small percentage of souls. I feel mankind needs to have hope but the problem is that different religions teach such different beliefs. There is much confusion even among Christians. Anyway, I have been led to a path of hope that I feel good about and I am thankful for our creation.
