An Old Chunk of Glass
Random trinkets tossed into a box
Costume jewelry, or so they thought,
Came a jeweler with a loup, a sly fox
Sorted junk, for a treasure he sought
With luck he hit paydirt this fine day
He found a genuine ruby, rather large,
Passed over like an old chunk of glass
Showing it to the estate lady in charge
She hissed, “as marked!” with no class,
He bought the ruby for what she asked
Upon leaving he whispered “kiss my a**,”
It was a bargain quite unsurpassed.
