In the heart of a silent moment
The thought of the past drifts gently
Coloring my thoughts in lavender embers
Creating a world of inspirations intently
In the soul of a dewdrop smile
The music of love captures my desire
Laughing with hope for the joyful light
Breathed through the darkness like a live wire
In the twinkling of a stardust glimmer
The poetry of fulfillment brings a affection
Flowing from the oceans of compassion and faith
Inspiring promise that ignites a Godly connection
In the beauty discovered across the dreams
The brilliance of a buttery sunshine lights my praise
Warming my life with vibrant shadows of pleasure
Stilling every storm with serenity that will amaze
In the quiet of a magnificent autumn rain falling
The mystery of acceptance cascades down my reflections
Hastening through my ideas with captivating wisdom
Reminding me that this love in my heart has no objections
In the whisper of a tender thought on my mind
The song of courage and promise rises to new heights
Reminding me that I can open new doors, new gates
To the sun, moon and stars with all their heavenly lights
In the prayers I murmur through my greatest needs
The love of God rises to meet my every want or expectation
Giving me the grace to reach beyond my worries and fears
Into the spirit of His gift, His Son, where there is salvation
In my heart and in my soul, where only God can really go
There is the need to excavate all the faults, flaws and greed
Give my compassion to a world who is filled with darkness
Fill the shadows with my kindness – with love that will succeed
Listen to your heart and listen to your dreams
Welcome God to breathe His love through your life
Share all your joy and all the inspiration you feel
Awaken all the heart’s beauty and rid your world of strife
Excavate your sin with light that enters in
When God fills your soul with Him, the Son
