An End of the Age of Innocence
When I was young it had often sparked,
My curiosity to walk along so very care free..,
Although, we would often live in the land of make believe..,
Still there are many of us together today who long to watch us bleed !
When one arrives to venture to live by sight !!
This shall certainly send along a great fright !
Hence, some of us will seek to justify our sin !
Fresh out of personal comfort nor preference to sin..,
Yet who shall seperate us from this inner battle ?
Neither plague, nor tempest, nor pestilence !
For the strong arm of Moses !
Yet to speak to the rock !
Let my people go !
Yet if curiosity killed the cat ?
What does one do with curiosity ?
Yet I still often ponder to cherish !
A delicate rose that was plucked along time ago..,
Far too long ago..,
Although we have been once bitten..,
Still ponder a rescue out of sorts.,
Yet some are just twice as shy !
Henc, we oft' falter to take heed to that pie in the sky ?
