Amnesia

Contest Name Where in the world...
Amnesia
There he was bemused afflicted,
Who the bloody hell was he, today?
Memory with him, wasn’t with it,
Brain dead dodo here to stay,
Saw a Doctor, so confusing,
Not a word made any sense,
What was the name, he now was using?
Couldn’t cross this bloody fence,
Hypnotised to search for family,
Who were you, just recently,
Said he was in the second war,
Crossed the veil, his spirit free,
Deeper sleep then said the Doctor,
What is your name, do tell me,
Thought he was off his rocker,
When he gave a lecture free,
“Liver needs a tonic,
or death will take,
You steadily,
Stop your drinking,
yes so cronic,
death will take you readily,”
Still no closer to the truth,
Mr x went off to sea,
Doctor threw out the whisky,
Gout had grabbed his foot you see,
Sailing the Pacafic ocean,
Came to Brisbane and he was home,
Saw the Story Bridge again,
Johnson was his name, his own.
