Amazing Grace
Is God's 'Grace' simply 'nom de plume,'
Of fact, 'God loves us,' given room
To think God cares for men at all?
For most divine man's love's so small,
Perhaps just dream of men on earth,
Few calories, like 'virgin birth,'
(An oxymoron fools dreamt up?)
To think life's more than half full cup
That may not harm but cannot feed
Man's lust for meaning (need or greed?)
(Did Christmas' star gift light to night,
An antidote to abyss' blight?)
Is 'Luck' not 'Grace,' just in disguise,
'Faith' tinted glasses trick our eyes
To think somehow that we are blessed?
And God loves us? Was there a test?
Tell me! I think of this a lot,
Am I a fool for Camelot?
Or bigger fool to dream God's JUST
And not a vacuum to be cussed!
If God is real, He MUST be God,
A bitter truth, though it seems odd,
Should we not trust, with God's Son face
The love of God - "I AM" IS 'Grace.'
