Am I a poet ...let me see Iambic verse it’s Greek to me I don’t rate Shakespeare he’s a bore and writing sonnets I abhor yet, I try to write poetry I’ll write beside the azure sea or when I’m sipping breakfast tea I’ve never been arty before ... am I a poet? I won’t take negativity I’ll bring some fun and can’t agree humor is bad - show me the law, and those who mock me I’ll ignore I pen daft rhymes, just let me be - am I a poet? Enjoyed Am I A Poet very much as gave me a smile and feel it should come natural as have friends who can draw and paint but have a challenge to write a sentence and I can't draw paint to save my life

I have never been a Shakespeare fan it leaves me cold but he did write comedies but i didn't find them that funny lol:-) I'll not stray from trying to make folk laugh and at the end of the day there is room for all types of poems on soup i just happen to prefer the light hearted approach:-)hugs jan xx

lol Rico, I get fed up of seeing and being told about folk criticising those who write bawdy poems or humour, ribald humour is totally acceptable in the limerick form and I will never stop trying to make folk smile and I am sure you feel the same:-) hugs jan xx
