"An empty room that defies explanation is a timeless mystery only to those that don't remember the reason" Quote by the Poet
Maybe someone had memories of the room.
Maybe they were all long forgotten by gloom.
There was eeriness, as if inaudible whispers remained,
Bouncing echoes off the walls, neglected and stained.
A chill was imagined even on sunny days.
Nothing remained, not even prospects, never praised.
No hope lingered, no anticipation of a new coat of paint.
Did spirits take refuge, did a diabolical incident taint?
Be they captives, waiting for redemption to be released?
Neglect, could this be the reason life here ceased?
Is it this locked door that hides it's shame?
Emptiness, at least that gave the room a name.
Despite its overwhelming sense of doom,
It was, is and always will be, the empty room.
