Always a Loser

I blew a dollar on a ticket,
But I allowed machine to pick it.
I think it a sin
That I didn't win.
I wonder if machine would rig it.

I can relate to this poem Joyce! Funny how we are tempted to do this once in a while. Thanks for sharing this reflection of funny things we do at times. Thanks for visiting my corner. Love Dalila

Yeah well, betting birth dates doesn't do it for me either. Nice Limerick, Joyce. Good luck in the contest.

I blow my dollars away too and I still haven't won anything. I am just not lucky. Enjoyed your limerick. Take care. Janet

Lotteries are big money makers for the states. They are based on the casino game of Keno which is the most difficult game to win. There are millions of losers every day; so you are far from being alone. Good limerick, Joyce.
