Always there but
Never to touch
Fleeting like smoke
A shadow here
A wind brushes there
Slipping away like a dream
Memory snagged on imagery
Tearing loose, afloat, aloft
Like wispy clouds
Fragments of history
Memories of Dreams
Always there but never to touch
A shadow on the floor
A leaf dancing with the unknown
A sigh soft and alone
Always there never to touch
Fleeting like ghosts
In a storm
