Altar of Desire

Ensnared in your gaze
My eyes caught in a haze
Tangled in a web of fire
My heart blinded by desire

Dancing in strobe lights
Feet enslaved to the night
In your arms I'm a beast
On your lips lies a thief

Stealing every moment off your tongue
Kissing you
Like I've found my lover lost at sea
When am with you I can't stop smiling
Like kids running in the sun

I gave you my body
You gave me your heart
I took away your pain
You brought me to the altar of desire

Crawling on hands & knees
Towards your bed
Setting sail on a voyage
Of two bodies lost at sea
Whose friends & family will never see

Till we resurface from the sheets
Our hearts lost in each others sea
Lying on an island
Bodies locked in heat.
