Along the Path of Autumn
Along the path of autumn I can see
God’s splendid beauty painted on each tree.
A tiny squirrel seems to stare at me -
so sweet to see; adorable is he!
Along the path of autumn I can hear
wind murmuring as upward I now peer.
Birds twitter high above, yet seem so near.
Leaves rustle magic this time of the year.
Along the path of autumn, joy I feel,
for nature has her loveliest appeal
in this bright season. I think I shall steal
wind’s zest. I fling my arms and run with zeal!
