'alone Time'

if I go through life in silence today 
please do not worry 
‘cause my thoughts takes preference  
over the jumbled words I might spew 
don’t feel like you are dismissed or ignored 
I sometimes need my alone time  

to work out what the meaning 
of my current struggle might be 
even if I don’t get my aha moment today 
I will feel better about it tomorrow 
even if I didn’t get clarity on everything today 

I need to do this 
In all the rush of life I don’t want to lose myself
while being everything to everybody
while neglecting and forgetting to nurture myself
