All Too Easy
If you couldn't read about it,
If you couldn't take a trip to see it,
If you couldn't get to see a movie about it,
And there was no one to tell you about it,
It would be all too easy for bad to be the only it.
For those of us who can read,
For those of us who are free to travel,
For those of us who go to movies,
For those of us who can talk about it,
It is all too easy to forget that others only get to know about bad,
When there is so much good that we take it for granted,
And do nothing to ensure that we will not be overtaken by the bad.
