All Colours Are Equal

So many enchanting colours created by lord
He painted the earth with masterstrokes of varied hues
aquamarine, crimson, chartreuse, coral,
lavender, lemon, lilac,
saffron, tangerine, watermelon...

Aquamarine water reflects sky
Sun changes hues from crimson to saffron to lemon
Green leaves of varied hues have colourful flowers like lavender, lilac, rose

Eatables like watermelon, mango, pomegranate, lemon, broccoli
spinach, carrot, tomato
are not just tasty but bright and colourful too

Do we ever discriminate between vegetables on grounds of color
Or against flowers on grounds of color
Or between moon and sun on grounds of color

Do we hate our black hair? Our black eyebrows?
Would we hate our children if they were dark skinned?

We wear black dresses for their beauty
We buy black car for its sheer magnificence
Black valets, ties, shoes, handbag and accessories all are an essential part of our life

We simply adore walking at night,
Shining stars and moon get their enchanting look on the backdrop of black sky

We love and use everything black but hate black skinned people
Our fair skin gives us a sense of superiority
We like fools forget skin is a mere covering,
inside all are same
Blood is red for all.
