Alice In Wonderland
Alice took a trip to Wonderland
By way of her marvelous dreams.
Carroll (pseudonym)told us about it.
Dodgson was his real name it seems.
Every child whose read the story has loved it.
From start to finish the same.
Growing to ceiling from potion she drank,
Her habits I think were a shame.
In one book she sank to miniature size,
Just so small she went down a wee hole.
Knowing as I do all the troubles she had, it's
Lucky she came out of it whole.
Movies have been made from the Alice books,
None so good as the books themselves.
Oh, how frightened sweet Alice looks
Pictured in books on my shelves.
***** were some people whom she met,
Revolting were some of their ways.
Strange animals too that I've never seen
To meet them would scare me for days.
Vicious were actions of people to her.
When she got the courage to speak up,
X marks the spot where they were.
Youth and good nature were assets,
Zealously guarded by Carroll for sure.
