Ahtohallan - the River of Memory
Ahtohallan- The River of Memory
Where the north wind meets the sea,
There’s a river full of memory.
With her lie the answers that you seek,
Go to her when the calls are at the peak,
Yes, she will sing to those who hear,
But her powers you must learn to fear,
Lie the answers in her waters true and deep,
But some secrets she too must keep,
Dive in her waters to know,
The secrets she has to show,
But dive not too far down deep,
For then shall inherit you the meek,
For where the north wind meets the sea,
Waits a mother full of memory,
She shall answer them all, wise and true,
But beware because she will try to lure you,
Into depths unknown,
And then the bird would have flown,
For she shall freeze you in the eternal flow of time,
And it is then that you will hear the last chime,
Oh! You who have come here,
To know things others fear,
It is time that you must know the truth,
Though still in your youth,
What you seek is not the answers oft untold,
But truths that were sold,
What you seek is yourself,
For the answers alone you know for self,
What you ought was just assurance of your doubts.
Of which your heart did not know the whereabouts,
But you must learn to trust your heart,
For it masters well its entrusted art....
