Very, very cute, Sara! Sometimes the result is not what we envision or hope for! I have gardenias in my shade garden. I do love gardenias and hope that I don't suffer the same fate when they bloom! Blessings and congratulations!

Yes, Kim, this seems to be the year for loaded gardenia bushes. They are beautiful. I have one and my daughter has some which have grown together to make one giant bush. Sara K

The pollen of some flowers cause allergies. For some, it is mild, for others it is so severe causing severe bouts of sneezing and breathlessness. So well written, dear Sara with an apt image.

Not as bad this year as some years, Victor. The people buying property around us are cutting a lot of the trees down which has helped the allergy problems but not the environment. Thanks for dropping by. I don't have it as bad as my grandsons. Sara K

IE, I am hoping flu season is over now. I did have an injection of flu vaccine to help keep me from getting it. Allergies are there to bother me all year but worse in the spring and fall. Thanks for the visit and nice review and concern. Sara K

Yes, a lovely fragrance, Eileen. I had an aunt that said in winter she did not need any perfume and in summer she pinned on a gardenia. I appreciate the visit to my page and taking time to comment. Sara K

Allergies are rife as Spring produces magnificent blooms with delicate perfumes like the gardenia.

Yes, Victor, spring and fall are really bad for me but not as bad as it is for some people. In the fall, ragweed is really abundant here and causes problems as well. The fatigue that is brought about by allergies is so debilitating. Thanks for the visit and nice review of my work. Sara K

What a cool beauty you have painted in these beautiful four lines dear friend Sara. One can feel the love and warmth with which have planted these Gardenia plants and even praying for them. In India still lot of Indians worship plants and we treat them as our best friends. Even some plants like Holy Basil is worshiped like a family protector.
