Aging, Where

Aging? Where? Why, sure you forget things! You may lose your balance, too! And yes, your eyes may be going, Plus your hearing, too! But I say, so what! Get out in God's sunshine For heaven's sake. Rub a soft green leaf on your cheek, A precious sliver of God's grace. You do not need a crowd to love you. You do need the man upstairs to love you. Can't run in a marathon race anymore? You had your day, get out of your head. There's much good work to good work still to do. Say hello to a neighbor, call a friend. Be good to your pets. Live a life with no regrets. "Get out of your head, and rub a soft leaf to your cheek. Get outside." I could not have said this any better myself. Not that my word means anything but I too know people who have started to spend their days feeling sorry for themselves, crippling their choices.

You are right it happens. Sometimes, they need a human touch to wake them. Anything! A hug,a smile, a how are you. Plenty have been forsaken by the kids they raised. People like flowers need a little care to grow, I think. They get lost! Panagiota
