it was darken day in the dawn
she was clothed her heart mind naked
beneath her vessel skin her spirit soul
time present fleeting flesh self-dying stilled
spiritually beautiful yet flesh aging
spirit wages war skin is sagging
humanity only lust after a seen body
hurry while the flesh is still tight
wretched men savor to get that flesh
while it’s young, fresh, firm beautiful
the body not that good it’s the spirit that last
what she looked like as 33 now she's broken and gasp
oh ugly obese wrinkle woman
yonder man should just see himself in the mirror
see the same things he sees in her
are the things he's gleaned also
