Aging

The existing of a youth, so sacred in their form. They have not yet lived, or weathered any storm. Innocent and young they don't know what lies ahead. As the years go by they learn from things that people said. Some choose to listen to the words of those who are wise. Some ignore the words of wisdom and meet their demise. The trials grow stronger as they grow older. Some cower as some grow even bolder. "I had to learn the hard way," you hear some say. But in learning they live to see another day. But the new day brings another lesson learned. Learn from your mistakes and the wounds of being burned. Tomorrow brings yet another beginning. Remember when the sun goes down that it's not the ending. You learn who you are as you go through life. How to handle situations and even deal with strife. You will bask in the sunlight of all that you do. Do it in pride knowing that it was the best of you. Today we live to create a better tomorrow. Until we go to a place where there is no sorrow. Hear the words of wisdom from those of us who know. Who have lived this life before you and will help you as you go. We are the world of today who help raise our tomorrow. We live out our days on the time that we borrow. We make room for you and yours as we exit this life. To have children of your own, and husband or a wife. You are our future and we are your past. Bring joy to others, we pray it will last. Goodbye we say as we close our eyes. Our soul is spared as the body dies. "Rest in peace," they say with tears And thank us for all of our years.
