That's what My Tim said (the man I've shared life with for 13 joyous, fulfilling years.) If not for him, I'd still be hiding my poems due to lack of confidence. I digress. Wrote this for a contest called 'Afterglow', it didn't place but I long ago realized placement has much to do with much else rather than the poem itself (my opinion.) My muse uses them for fuel. All that you've shared with me today has flared joy in me ... CayCay

Here's a silly little echo to your masterpiece: "HOT" Aching anticipation Brushed breathless Crave coiled Delicate delay Eager edges Fluttering fingers Glances that graze Hovering heat Invisible ignitions Junctures upcoming Knees knocked Lips linger Murmured mysteries Not now— Oh, not yet Pulses poised Quiet quakes Ravenous restraint Yikes: The temperature warning just popped up on my phone... so let's hold that thought and let the longing linger............

Rock it, Lyric Man, I am impressed with the creativity you surely came up with rather quickly in your comments; your comments + my poem made me decide to thank you and walk away. It's already hot enough here in Florida. I'll never understand why this didn't place in the Afterglow contest. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Dear CayCay, As I read I thought how dazzling a cascade of passion and artistry. The clever structure amplifies the rhythm of desire and release, creating a poetic Xanadu that lingers long after reading. You’ve captured the essence of raw emotion with elegance. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

What a creative "Afterglow" write you have here. The Abecedarian takes extra time and thought. "Good Luck" Enjoy your blessed/fun day writing away..............

oooh, yes, Caycay, so sensuous!!! You did so great here. Wait till I post mine. It's kind of silly!! I think I'm just all poetry'd out for writing about a thing I don't know that much about!
