After the Storm the Rainbow Appears
In our lives, we like a friend
one that's always good to us
but not a fair-weather one at all
they don't care you miss the last bus
It's better to have a real true friend
one who brightens your day like a rainbow
a positive friend to inspire you
keeping you true helping you to grow
The rainbow covers all of the skies
in all, its wonderful colours are so bright
after the showers of rain have gone
it lightens that sky so full of light
Many a shower darkens above
but the rainbow brightens the skies
just like a real faithful friend
always there being so very wise
No matter how wild is the storm
that friend is there at your shoulder
being so close gives you assurance
together able to divert every boulder
