After All These Years My Love
After All These Years My Love
I search the fragrant fields of youth
in simple words of beauty and truth
and fall beside the brook of dream
to watch the dancing light redeem
a promise held through days of old
brought back to life in purest gold
and of the silence of nervous thought
if only granted another shot
forever a pledge I'd give to thee
a life of adventure wild and free
