African Slavery
In Africa's heart, a painful past. A story told a tale so quality
of slavery's chains of lives laid waste of people torn from their native place.
Their ancestors' cries and still echoing loud as families were ripped apart. Their culture lost as they were sold into a life of bondage, cruel and cold.
Their sweat and blood became empires rose. Their freedom faded and
their stories lost in the sands of time but the scars remain a painful story.
Yet still, a positive hope shines bright and gave them a chance to heal, to make things right, to honor those who suffered so they work towards a brighter tomorrow.
