Advice From An Old Head
Now let's look at things calmly
you're still quite a young man
only in early thirties as you are
you've a future whatever the plan
A few bumps in life you've had
especially in past recent few years
lost your mum, your wife too sadly
but need to move on after the tears
You've come to truly believe in God
look up to Him to guide and lead
you detest your job at present time
but trust the Lord so pray and plead
Be always thankful for all you've got
look back remember you are blessed
despite the stammer and it's hindrance
you've not given up despite how messed
Learn wisdom keep into God's word
honour the Lord be faithful to the saviour
Jesus will honour you proving His love
for He knows you best as your creator
(This is written by myself now to me when 30 years ago in 1986 I was 32 years old, to advice and encourage.)
