"It has been asked and asked again By philosophers, commoners and kings From primeval fall to a codeine brain The question stays, for agony no wings. Too ridiculous: I shall not shiver on A roof without penthouse accommodation, Nor care two hoots for the question That rib just was not right for this situation. I need a companion, friend, and lover Not a cackling nag, or a full hormonal bag Of nattering harassment, a complainer Was not of my bone that now feeds the hag" Poor man, what do tell this troubled soul How truth so terrible comfort a frazzled friend He is so out of his wit and without control Truth will bring him closer to his tormented end. Did not Yahweh, the designer, told a man Whatsoever she say to you do it, and yet they Got along as friends. To love your woman Is the measure of your strength, and the day You keep her happy from dawn to dusk Is the measure of your manhood, and your trust But endure here nattering peace to its husk Is love stronger than iron, patience without rust. Yes, this true wisdom! And "God" had always meant it to be--found within the vows given once within marriage! Commitment, endurance, patience and understanding--that not all shall always be bliss--yet intwined as one; standing within faith from above, and not of that within the worlds perspectives, all, can be overcome!!:):)~A marriage and bonding built upon a rock, and not the shifting sands of an ever changings shore....Cont....

LOL..dude i love this piece and I am cracking up...a cackling hag, or a full hormonal bag...who would stay with that?...I don't care if any bones of mine had anything to do with this torment..LOL...your last verse is done very well..great writing again.

holy cow! L'nass, got to thinkin' on this amazing write!! hmmmm.... your last line invites participation, I say I have only seen it in 2-couples in my life, one pair married 56yrs. the other 68yrs. both until death.( the men veterans of WW2) my experience is "not yet"
