In this strife ridden world of ours today, It’s pain and suffering, we often see around. Many a man wanders aimless in utter dismay. Many wallow in despair as problems surround. So many are lost in the arid deserts of life, Failing to distinguish the oasis from the mirage. Feet burning, wading through blistering strife, They're duped by life's well aligned montage! Let us train our minds not to shrink into our own shell, And wish our hearts were the fount of gushing love. When all around, we see hatred and cruelty swell Let us strive to be harbingers of peace like a dove As we see many lost, unable to find their way, Help them step into the illumining light of day!

This is so touching and true my dear friend. The Tribute song and video I posted, which you already listened to, is targeted for people to share to those who are in desperately in despair and need something to give them hope. thanks for your astute poem, Hugs Maria

I wrote a similar poem recently, but haven't posted it as when I finally read it, I was a little unhappy with it, needed too many phrases and words changing. Yours is really a meaningful, lovely write Valsa my friend. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
