Aches and Pains
Aches and pains, aches and pains
Is this what old age is about?
What about sailing off into the sunset
Instead we complain about gout
It hasn't been bad at least not for me
Been one of the fortunate ones
Count all my blessings every damn night
Each morn I welcome the sun
Why me I ask, how come I'm the one
Escaping old age symptoms
Like gall stones, cholesterol, and diabetes
A lifetime most can't fathom
One day, that day will descend upon me
Hope it's quick and painless
A sissy I am and I always have been
Perhaps I'll continue to be blessed
Aches and pains, aches and pains
Is this what old age is about?
