Above the Bright Horizon
E-arly Sunday morning
M-akes a beautiful view;
I-t's second day of April,
L-et the dark depart from
Y-ou.
A-s the coal clouds turn white,
P-ouring rain is refused;
R-ugged wind of the night
I-s beginning to
L-ose.
V-ile weather has turned
I-nto a clear blue sky;
E-vening chill disappears,
S-ad shadow passes by.
C-herish the break of dawn, dark is brought to oblivion;
A-llow the beacon to rise, above the bright horizon.
