Abashed

Almost all of us at one time or another have felt abashed Bothered or irked when hopes and dreams were dashed Admonished or discouraged that we didn't follow through Struggling to succeed at the things we said we would do Heartbroken to think we disappointed those we hold dear Embarrassed by our failures until we silently shed a tear Disquieted and grieved, we live with the foe called 'fear.'
