She walked in the church doors all alone,
the heart in her chest was mere stone.
Her life was hard and a big mistake,
she longed to be pierced with a stake.
Left at the hospital when she was born,
If she took her life, who would mourn?
She went to the church to find a reason-
to live; deep pain was her constant season.
She wondered if God was really real;
If he was could he see her, or heal,
her from feeling so tired and worthless.
She didn't want to be seen as useless.
Suddenly, she felt a gentle cool breeze,
and she started to feel love and at ease.
Then tears of joy streamed down her face,
and years of heartache left without a trace.
