A Well Worth Mile
The complete joy of a sunny day
Returns this awesome month of May
Spring uplifts the spirit for now
All things are possible somehow
A blanket of blue covered sky
Birds singing in fresh air, they fly
Amidst world’s problems, carry on
With nice messages from the lawn
New flowers bloom to say hello
Creation of color will flow
In the views of those who look
Or take time to visit the brook
It is another joyful day
A gift that is granted my way
I share it with you for a smile
My steps today, a well worth mile
