A Wedding Toast
Before we toast today’s happy couple,
Some words of advice, that I’ll say in tune,
And I hope you will heed this, Dave,
Beneath each glorious moon,
And that is, to keep your marriage magnificent,
And abundant throughout your life,
Dave, when you find you’re wrong in the smallest fight,
Admit this mistake to your wife,
But, on the other hand, when you’re right,
Unless you want a most elegant riot,
You’d best hug your beautiful wife silently,
Not say a word, you’d best stay quiet.
Now, all I have to do is ask those who still can,
To stand and charge your glass in this room,
Ladies and gentleman, a toast to,
The most beautiful bride and her radiant groom.
