HexSonnetta

The HexSonnetta, created by Andrea Dietrich, consists of two six-line stanzas and a finishing rhyming couplet with the following set of rules: Six syllables per line,
Rhyme Scheme: a/bb/aa/b c/dd/cc/d ee

At first, there's a warm breeze, the air loses its nip icicles start to drip green tints the tops of trees rivers and lakes unfreeze, and spring slips winter's grip. Daffodils start to sprout pushing up through the snow, winter's about to go of that, there's little doubt; soon tulips will pop out and butterflies will show. I look forward to spring, and the joy it will bring. (HexSonnetta) 3/12/2021
