A War You Can Win
A war you can win
He says the words,
and
he feels
he's right
he says the words,
that
stab the heart
He doesn't care,
about
hurting feelings
He smugly says,
he just
plays a part
He plays
it cool
thinking
he's so clever
but,
he's just a fool
fooling
only a fool
A stupid man
who'd
say anything for fame
With a tongue
that is
oh, so cruel
Chorus
He say's that the tongue
really
can't hurt anyone
and all of us should
just grow thicker skin
but, we both know
that cruel words
can be a sin
and this is a war
he can't win
This is a war you can win!
So next time that
you hear him speaking
with his words that stab like a sword
You can protect
your heart and your mind
Refuse to give him your time
When people are cruel
with the words that they use
Its rightly called a verbal abuse
So take a stand against this kind of sin
cause this is a war you can win!
Yes, this is a war you can win!
Chorus repeat
