My Mumma is very sweet, well most of the time
She takes me for walks in the early daytime
There are days she decides to not take me out
I am not sure why as I will noisily pant and pout
Yippee! She is getting ready; I know we are going today
I see her grab my collar, leash and my shirt striped grey
Geez, I tell her I am tired of having to wear that stupid collar
But she tells me I look handsome, it matches my shirt color
I am getting irritated, panting as she takes a few trips upstairs
I ask what she is doing, as I bark at the bottom of the stairs
Yahoo, here we go, walking with my head up proudly smiling
As I walk, my tail is wagging as my Mumma is guiding
I stop and sniff, ahh what a relief as I pee on the ground
Sniffing at new places to explore with wild scents around
Mumma pulls me back again, she can be such a bore!
She waits as I squat, as I am doing my duties some more
Yes! We are headed towards the historical park
I pull more and whimper, I can’t wait to leave my mark
I am so happy, my tail wags as I bark and croon
Oh no, we are home again, our walks always end too soon!
