A Walk Down Lover's Lane

A WALK DOWN LOVER'S LANE

There once was a young lady from Spain
Walking with her friend down lover's lane
She said to her young beau
Will you please let me show
What you will want some more of again

His response was one of great surprise
As was seen by the look in his eyes
He took hold of her hand
And said that would be grand
And his thoughts quickly soared to the skies

But she was real fast to let him know
It's not what you are thinking of though
It's the box lunch I made
To be shared in the shade
And caused his disappointment to show
