A Vow
What vow could be it,
that started with destruction
All the human's sufferings,
Commenced in that dungeon
captured where, thy darkest face,
nonetheless, it's my favorite place
How foul the desires, that can't be traced,
it's you or me, no one can be graced
assault of souls, degradation of minds,
we "the educated people", how sinful a kind
Countless lives, whose prayers denied,
Virus, bombs, missiles, is this our pride?
God's most intelligent being, left the sanity,
Bloodshed everywhere, is this the humanity?
Mercy, O Lord, mercy on thy souls,
Let them not divert from their prime goal
"let the skylark, sing the sweet song,
Stop the entire breed from being wrong"
