A very Good Friday

I never would have thought a fall on asphalt could fracture so easily.. The x-ray's said it was my femur, offered prayers to our redeemer and now things look brighter for me. Hospitalized with surgery tomorrow? Plates and pins? I stalled, time borrowed, for a little more clarity.. My ortho. agreed to a plan for an outpatient cat scan, and a fractured pelvis is what they did see.. Six weeks at a slower pace but no surgeries now with God's grace. My heart is as grateful as can be! Happy Easter to all!!

As someone who has undergone OP surgery, I completely understand the apprehension it poses and our desire to avoid it. Glad to know that it may not be necessary in the immediate future

Hi marugu, I am not sure what would have been the better outcome, a few weeks with a plate and a pin or six to eight weeks waiting for three minor pelvis fractures to heal? Haven't felt like too much writing these days. Thanks for your comment and have a blessed day..

Thanks Tom and a Happy Easter to you. I am in a lot of pain though but it could have been worse. I discovered I am better off with my walking stick then this walker. The walker makes different things hurt. It's challenging but family will be coming up soon, so I will be fine. Blessings to you
