A Trucker

Did you ever look into the eyes of a trucker, And try to see what he has seen? Did you ever try to go in your mind, To the places he had been? Did you ever think about the loneliness, He feels behind the wheel? A lot of people think it's easy out there, And that it's no great big deal. A lot have five million miles under their belt, Thats a lot of time to be alone. But they are dedicated to their families, Whom they provide for at home. They move what you and I buy, Without any recognition at all. They move everything they can, no matter how big or small. So the next time you see a trucker, Slowly passing by, Give him a real big wave, And don't forget to say Hi.
