A Tribute To Connie Marcum Wong

There are special people, God put in this world. Deserving of Diamonds and Beautiful Pearls. Her words are genuine and they touch us all. Caringness and kindness, we felt, and saw. To know her is to love her, in a Special way. Now my friends, it's time to Pray. A Prayer for healing, to Heal Her Heart. To bring to her, a Brand New Start. She's been through so much, in a very short time. Please pray for her, and be so kind. Soup Mail her, to show you Care. That's all of you, her friends Out There. We miss you Connie Please Come Back Soon. If not by daybreak by afternoon. Our prayers are with you, please know we're here. Have Peace in your Heart, and No fallen Tears. Please reach out to Connie Marcum Wong. If you haven't heard she was recently in the Hospital with a serious medical condition. Also a big Thank You to John Watt's blog of notifying us on Connies Condition. God bless you all and God bless and heal Connie.

I am so glad also Dear Anne-Lise. It is so sad she left us but God had decided to bring her home. She appreciated all the love and kind words people shared with her in the comments and Soup Mail. I am coming late to this very special and caring tribute to Connie, Michael: How wonderful that TPS made it POTW. I have known Connie personally for many years. It is because of her encouragement that I continued to learn and grow as a poet. When I was terribly injured by a pit bull in Honolulu she came and gave me healing Reiki. As a friend she is a rainbow in a storm. Love, SuZ

Samson attacked Chief and had his whole jaw around Chiefs head. I jumped in to seperate the two fighting dogs, and as I pulled them both by the collar, Samson turned his head and bit into my arm and literally almost tore my arm off. His fangs went into my arm deep as he was pulling on my arm. I unfortunately had to punch him to let go and he did. I then rode away to the Emergency room. They don't do much for a punctured wound, I got a tetanus shot and penicillian. Never had another bad incident from Samson, he turned out to be a wonderful dog, and no more Hambrugers...

So glad you are ok Suzanne. I remember back in 2000. We adopted a beautiful huge German Shepherd, we named him Samson. I had three dogs a Golden Retriever and another Shepherd named Precious. I loved my dogs and every so often I would go and buy them hamburgers. Although Samso was huge he was not an Alpha type, he was kind of quiet and not aggressive at all. Well that changed one day, when I brought the hamburgers home for the dogs. Chief my Golden ate his, and so did Precious, Samson was about ready to eat his when Chief stepped in to take it away from him.

Suzanne that is so wonderful to hear, She is such a giving person. Her actions to help you doesn't surprise me. That is who Connie is, a kind, caring, human being. We are blessed to know her and be her friend. She has been through so much, but she gets up, shakes it off, and starts her new day. thanks for your reply below. I got a cat scan to rule out MS or tumors. But cat scan does not show miswiring of the nervous system and the neurologist could not help me. He gave me Gabapentin which is very safe . It is helping me just slightly, making the sensations on my back less intolerable. Wish my mouth would go back to normal!!

Andrea.So sorry you are having back nerve pain. Have you been to an Orthopedic Dr. It might have something to do with degenerative discs. My hubby had cervical disc degeneration and surgery. The Gabapentin really screwed him up over time. Be cautious with it. Hugs, SuZ

Your welcome. Im sorry about your mouth. Going to send you Soup Mail you wouldnt believe what I found out through my brothers mechanic in Florida. He got it from the horses mouth. I will send you the Soup Mail and will pray for your healing. God bless you and heal you. Glad it is helping slightly this new medication... Suffering from my medical situation I can relate to your condition somewhat. Hang in there Andrea and never give up in finding a cure through research and different Drs...

John Watt did a blog on prayer for her and her condition, and I did the tribute, and many of the talented Writers on the Soup Mailled and prayed for Connies recovery. It was a combined humanitarian effort. More importantly it was our Lord, he heard our prayers and acted in love to heal her. She is Paul all the nice things you wrote. Our prayers, Andrea worked. Everyones efforts here made that possible through our Lords intervention. I am delighted to hear of Connies progress and recovery. Please let us know on Connies progress. I will Soup Mail her to also ask how she is doing. I hope you enjoyed the Holiday and it was much better to enjoy knowing Connie was feeling better. It is a good thing when good things happen to people we care for. I still deal with my Sensitivity to Wi Fi and electrical currents but I am making slow progress. I wish I could spend time commenting on so many on the Soup that I love to read but I have to limit my time. God bless you Andrea for being there for Connie as a "True Friend" that you are to her.

Connie I was just happy it was chosen to bring more attention to You and your situation. I wanted to get all your beloved friends involved in Praying, and notified. I am so happy you feel so Honored. I am delighted your breathing better, and so glad it helped you get through your hospital stay. The response that we got Connie tells you how much you are loved in this Community. These same people that supported you and responded to your cause, I believe would do it all over again for any of us that experienced a Storm like the one you went through. I spent the 4th quietly with my wife Judy and my dog Tavi, painting my deck. Actually it wasn't so quiet because of the fireworks lol. I hope you enjoyed your 4th. Michael, what a beautiful gift you have crafted for our wonderful Connie as she recovers. Her diagnosis of an enlarged heart is medical confirmation of what we have known all along: Connie has a BIG heart. The feeling is mutual. You both are much too kind; as I see it, I was just in the right place at the right time and simply started the ball rolling. The real humanitarians are all the dear souls who offered their prayers and uplifting thoughts. I'm so glad Connie was able to see how truly loved she is by this community, and for good reason. It is part of what endears me to this site, that people truly care for one another.
