A Thought Gone Searching
a thought gone searching
searching for an open space it had glimpsed before
a space alive knowing only itself
a pulsing fullness..an understanding joy
which thought is desperate to find.. just once more..
alas our thought has a hidden handicap:
remembering that glimpse as that some-thing
arriving and arriving and arriving
at some gateway..an entrance forbidden..
the key is there with accompanying fear:
fiery dissolution of that thought gone searching..
will it?..can it?..does it..?
