Fortunately I never need to fill in tax forms, Jan! Any tax that has to come off my pension is taken off from the outset, otherwise I have nothing to declare. Enjoyed your double Limerick...and I see a winner:) Glad there are 3 at home to celebrate Christmas together!! Hugs // paul

Hi Jan, well, getting any communication from the IRS would lead you to drink. One never expects to receive money. Love the content of both limericks. Wishing you and the family a very Merry Christmas. have a wonderful Christmas Eve. Hugs....Mike. XX

Your limericks compliment each other perfectly, Jan. The first leads to the second and the bottle. Lol...good work!

Thanks Alexis I wasn't sure about how you deal with tax in the US so I got a little advice when I'd written the first poem:-) hugs Jan xx

Inflated prices are aggravating, however, if gas gets any lower her in the states, the gas stations will be paying us to stop by. So that is good. You could write a limerick about that next. We are all taking up a little collection to get a bottle of something something to you, Jan. Merry Christmas. It may be there by New Year's.
