Dear Paul, as a rain lover, I relish the beauty, peace and gray mood of a rainy day.. and the poignant creative mood it can so easily inspire. Your poetic artistry and intellect shines in this dazzling piece. Beautiful brevity, as always, my inspiring friend. Congratulations for your 1st place success in Suzette's contest. I appreciate your wonderful presence, and I hope all is well with you and yours. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Congratulations on your first placing dear Paul on thsi brilliant piece. I must admit though I am not a pluviophile lol, though it is most welcome when needed. You must have noticed that I havent been on FB for a while now. Weirdly they suspended my acct saying I hadnt followed guidelines on Instragram. What a joke, seeing that I havent posted anything on Instragram for over 2 years. I can only assume my acct has been hacked, in which case I am not at all eager to have it reopened. Hope you and your family are doing well? Take care now. Love and Hugs

Thank you dear Maria for reaching out through Soup. FB has been playing me up as well, accusing me of spam, breaking rules, etc. and then deleting my posts. I always try to plead my case, but nothing comes out of it. I hope things will turn out positively for you. Fingers crossed! Love & Hugs coming your way, my friend. // paul

' a summer storm dazzles with a splash of inspiration. ' Yes it does, in so many wonderful ways. I love everything about the rain, and you've painted such a beautiful scene with your words. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather, and the moment when, rain falls in my world. Congratulations on your win, my dear sweet friend. Sending smiles and hugs your way. :) Brandy

I feel compelled to comment: I have used the word 'pluvial' in my sonnet 'Autumn' (not posted here on PS), and as an example of a perfect rhyme in one of my articles. I am rather fond of rain, therefore this poem resonated with me, Paul. Thanks for a lovely entry for the challenge.
