Hi Barbara, I enjoyed your Haiku. The juxtaposition of your first two lines drew me in for the punch of the last line. I enjoyed this. I have started writing some Haikus and Senryus. I'm a neophyte at this but would love your thoughts if you have a chance to looks at my poems. All the best, JP

yes! the birds love the light-rain! red-winged blackbirds can extend their range for the day (delighting more of us with their soulful lament!) and songbirds are less prone to becoming prey! great haiku! Barbara! and thanks once more for comments!! Jim
