What a pretty image your poem creates. I have memories of picking berries when I was a child and years ago with my own kids, now young adults. When my daughter was young she called blueberries, "bluebabies" This certainly was deserving of a win. Now I want blackberries. :). Yum.

I have not many fond memories of my childhood, but finding those random wild blackberries is definitely one. A beautiful mental scene you have created.

Ahh!! There is a lot of moisture in the air in places but no blackberries here at this time of year. I enjoyed reading your work. Sara
