A Solemn Promise
When I found you in this life my soul was overjoyed
To lose you now would cause me to be destroyed
I know I turn black at times and I do get you a bit annoyed
I hope that you would always stay or in my life there will be a void
You are the only one that can set my soul free
The only one I can love to the highest degree
So now I come and pray to the heavens and plea on bended knee
To have a chance to marry the woman who is really the half of me
As I think about the days gone by the days of pure bliss
I think about your warmth that my body really miss
So honey let me vow to the stars and make you a solemn promise
I promise to love you for all eternity and I hope we would seal it with a kiss
