A Smile Can Make the Difference
Her cousin had been killed
She could think of nothing else
She told no one
But a smile on the street helped
He had lost his job
Had no idea how hard it was to find another one
Had already survived six interviews
This potential boss smiled, making him a tiny bit hopeful
They were homeless now
Living where? They did not even have a car
They picked up some things and wandered down to their neighbors
“Come in,” he said, smiling at them “we will figure this out”.
A smile can make all the difference in the world.
