A Sinner's Prayer

Oh Lord, I am selfish but no fish I sell A true believer I am though I’m an outlaw, I’m your truant Christian; Every day, I fear to wake up on knees. I am a sinner in your eyes, Lord! Oh Lord, humanitarian I never lose the dream. Huge work, I hate on a day of Sunday. On a sunny day, stings I stuck on his path. As I was passing at church to pray. Yet, a ream of sins I bore in your beam. At church, on knees, I sat and stood. For hugely inferior I humbly trapped him. Thorns and hurdles, he stood in with no food. Fearless, asylum with no plum I seek here, Lord, in your sacred title, hide me as a sinner. Pardon pour on me profusely, Lord! Those bleeding inside and outside leave alone. But still, keep your ears on me here melt in May, Forget those moaning and yelling for caused groan. In your castle, Lord, tilts and alms I’ll pay while knelt. For I am your Christian, my Lord. This poem is dripping with truth; for we are all sinners, although we serve Christ. At church on our knees, trying to escape the traps and snares of the author of lies. Great Write!
